His strength. You can do all things He has called you to do because "He strengthens and empowers you to fulfill His purpose". You have His sufficiency. His power makes you ready for anything and equal to anything because He “infuses you with inner strength and confident peace”. (Amplified Philippians 4:13).
The purpose God created you for was relationship with Him, to experience the pleasure of His love for you (Revelation 4:20; Ephesians 1:4-6; 1 John 3:1; 1 John 4:10,19). He empowers you to know Him and to know His love. God empowered you by giving you His Spirit so that you would know this truth (1 Corinthians 2:12). You were created to know Him and to be loved by Him. So great is His love that it had to be satisfied; His love had to be expressed. The intensity of His love for you gave you the privilege of being one with His Son Jesus through Christ’s sacrifice (Ephesians 2:4,5). Nothing could stop His love for you!
On the foundation of His love, He strengthens and empowers you to experience His abundance. By His overflowing grace, that is His favor and mercy, He equips you with everything you need for living a victorious life here on earth. You are “invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory…” (Colossians 1:11).
You can do all these things that He has called you to do by His empowerment and strength:
Be anxious for nothing (Philippians 4:6)
Be an overcomer (1 John 5:4,5; 1 John 4:4)
Be more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37)
Heal the sick (Mark 16:18; Matthew 10:8)
Raise the dead (Matthew 10:8)
Rejoice always (Philippians 4:4)
Love your enemies (1 John 3:23; 1 John 4:7)
Forgive those who hurt you (Ephesians 4:32)
Live holy as He is holy (1 Peter 1:15; Ephesians 1:4)
Don’t lean on your understanding, but acknowledge Him (Proverbs 3:5,6)
Keep your mind on things above; keep your mind fixed on the Lord (Colossians 3:2)
Live by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Don’t let your heart be troubled (John 14:1)
Be a witness for Jesus Christ, sharing the Good News (Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8)
Speak with new tongues (Mark 16:17)
Believe and see the glory of God (John 11:40)
Be free from guilt and condemnation (Romans 8:1-4)
Experience the authority of Jesus’ name, a name above every name (Philippians 2:9,10)
Speak to your mountains, your problems, and move them (Mark 11:22-24)
Humble yourself before God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7)
Be confident in the Lord and trust Him (Proverbs 3:5; Romans 4:18-20)
Know that God hears you when you pray and answers your prayer (1 John 5:14,15)
Cast your cares on the Lord (1 Peter 5:7)
Be vigilant against the devil; withstand him firm in faith (1 Peter 5:8,9)
Know the immeasurable, unlimited power of God in and for you who believe in Him (Ephesians 1:19)
God has called you to do all of this through His Son Jesus Christ, but apart from Him, you can do nothing (John 15:5). It is His strength and power at work in your life. He is the One with the ability, and He shares that ability with you through His Spirit.
Therefore, when you awake in the morning, placing your feet on the floor, know that whatever God has called you to do, you are strengthened by Him. You are daily loaded with His benefits for the moments you face each day (Psalm 68:19; Psalm 103:1-5). Because of this assurance, let your voice praise Him with confidence, knowing that “He is able and mighty to keep His Word” and do exactly what He has said (Romans 4:21); “rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice” (Philippians 4:4) with expectation of His strength and empowerment!
