THE POWER OF KNOWING WHO YOU ARE BY FAITH

Do you have enough faith to understand these truths from the Lord? The answer is yes! Jesus is the Author of your faith and its Finisher; He brings your faith to maturity (Hebrews 12:2). He opens your spiritual eyes to see by His Holy Spirit. Suddenly, you understand that Jesus entered into heaven, into the presence of God, on your behalf and wiped away sin forever; by the sacrifice of Himself, He put away sin (Hebrews 9:24-26)! Jesus offered Himself once for all time for every human being, bearing the sin of everyone. He dealt with our sin forever for all who would believe in Him as Savior, Messiah, and Lord (Hebrews 9:28)! Without our sinful nature separating us from God, we have the privilege of a relationship with Him. This gift is available for all those who would come to God through Jesus (Hebrews 7:25). With your spiritual eyes wide open, what did this look like in heaven when Jesus entered in on our behalf before the Father?

See Jesus going into the Father’s presence for you, confirming His completed work of the cross and ushering in a new covenant of love and welcome for all sinners who would believe in Him and accept His work. No more separation between God’s people and Him. Without any restriction, the gates of heaven were open, ushering in a celebration of being new creations, coming boldly before the throne of grace! The law fulfilled by Jesus! Now believers had the privilege of living in the fullness of His completed work. Fear, guilt, and condemnation were removed because judgment from sin was forever taken by Jesus Christ, the Son of God! Sin wiped away. Now those who believe are restored children, who are just like Jesus. A glorious, resounding chorus in heaven, celebrating the moment and forever more! Jesus did it! This is the reason to dance before the Lord, singing praises and allowing not only our voices to sing hallelujah, but also our lives! Everything about us praising the Lord because of His finished work. And by His faith, given to us as a gift, by the presence of His Holy Spirit, He helps us to understand these truths about His finished work and what it means to us. He helps us to understand the transformation of our spirits so that we may live according to His workmanship, according to the masterpieces that we are!

Now our voices may confirm the truths of our inheritance as children of God:

• We are seated at the right hand of the Father because we are now one with Jesus, His Son.

• Seated at His right hand, we benefit from His power, which the enemy can’t stand against.

• We possess the nature of Christ.

• We have the privilege of the power of Jesus’ name.

• The blessings of God chase us down.

• We are blessed coming in and going out.

• We are above only and not beneath.

• Daily God loads us with His benefits.

• We are forgiven of every sin. We are healed of every disease.

• We are crowned with loving kindness and tender mercies.

• Each day we enjoy the strength of the Lord.

• We possess His resurrection power, immeasurable and unlimited.

• When we resist satan, he flees from us.

• We are overcomers and more than conquerors.

• We are one with God and Jesus, Who are the treasury of all wisdom and knowledge.

• We possess the Spirit of God and not the spirit of this world.

• We know the things of God because we possess His Spirit.

This revelation of who we are comes by faith, by not just knowing about Jesus, but knowing Him through intimacy. This revelation comes not just by knowing facts about Him, but by experiencing His love and knowing by love who He created us to be!
