The Miracle of God's Truth Changes Everything!

Have you ever awakened in the morning, wiping away the grogginess of your eyes, and thinking this is an extraordinary day because I am filled with the essence of Almighty God? Slowly your mind ponders this truth. The One who created the earth, the universe, and everything in it by His word is now living in you! The same God that performed the signs and wonders through Jesus Christ, is one with your spirit! Your mind suddenly shifts to reflecting on all the things that Jesus did:

• He raised the dead.

• He healed the sick: blind eyes and deaf ears were open; withered hands were corrected; bodies were straightened; the lame walked.

• He healed the emotionally distraught.

• He demonstrated compassion and mercy to all sinners.

• He multiplied bread and fish.

• He knew hidden truths about people.

• He spoke with wisdom and authority, changing hearts and minds.

• He calmed stormy seas.

• He walked on water.

• He forgave sins, even those of His enemies.

• He withstood being beaten, mocked, and ridiculed with humility and in silence.

• He loved and never gave up on people.

Then you begin to think, if God who was present with Jesus did all of these things through Him, and now He is present with you, this is an amazing miracle! Suddenly, your life begins to change because your thinking is changing. Remembering what God said, that nothing is impossible for Him, you become hopeful. You see the Word of God as your treasure of possibility. Ephesians 3:20 says that according to His power at work in you, He can do more than you could ask, think, or dream!

Reflecting further, considering Jesus, you are reminded of something important; Jesus only did what He saw the Father do (John 5:19). Jesus was intimate with the Father. He was constantly going off to pray. His connection reveals an essential truth, without God, you can do nothing (John 15:5). Jesus knew the heart of His Father through relationship. He shows us that this relationship with the Father is imperative. The Word confirms that as a child of God, you are equipped for that relationship of intimacy because you possess His Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:12); He gave you His Spirit! He wants you to know Him; He desires to open your understanding to the aspects of His nature because His nature is exactly who you are in your spirit (Ephesians 1:17)! That makes you capable of living the same life of potential that Jesus lived!

Now you understand why God instructs you to renew your mind according to His Word (Romans 12:2). He tells you to consider only things that are above (Colossians 3:2; Philippians 4:8). Only by knowing His truth can you comprehend the miracle of His life within you. This is a gift of grace, a gift of love, a gift of possibility! It establishes a foundation for hope, encouragement, and expectation, causing you to be steadfast in Him.

Let your mind be fixed on these things and reflect upon His glorious truths!
