Have you ever thought that God can, but will He? Will God do this for me? That kind of thinking puts you on unstable ground. It suggests that you don’t know what God has already done. We tend to wait for God to do something when through Jesus, He has already provided. His word confirms all that He accomplished for you and creates a firm foundation of hope! And you were created by God to know these things, the things that He has prepared and are ready to be received by you.
First you must understand this: you have received the “Spirit who is from God, that you might know the things that have been freely given to you by God” (1 Corinthians 2:9-12). So, there is no guessing. Let’s look at what He did, what He gave you, as this establishes His love and desires for you.
God so loved the world that He gave…God so loved you that He gave His only Son Jesus to become human, to live for you and die for you (John 3:16).
Jesus humbly came to earth for you, giving up all of His privileges as God’s Son (Philippians 2:5-7).
Jesus came that you may enjoy life and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows) (John 10:10).
By God’s divine power, through Jesus, He has given you everything you need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him (1 Peter 1:3).
So filled with agony before being crucified, Jesus sweat drops like blood as He anticipated what He was about to do for you (Luke 22:39-44).
Jesus was despised and rejected for you, a Man of sorrows and pains, acquainted with grief and sickness (Isaiah 53:3).
Jesus borne your sicknesses, weaknesses and distresses, and carried your sorrows and pains when He died on the cross (Isaiah 53:4).
Jesus was wounded for your transgressions and bruised for you guilt and iniquities; the punishment needful to obtain peace and well-being for you was upon Him, and with the stripes that wounded Him you were healed and made whole. It pleased the Father to bruise Jesus and make Him sick for you (Isaiah 53:5,10).
You were the joy set before Jesus when He endured this suffering. (Hebrews 12:2)
Jesus purchased your life; took away your old sinful nature and gave you His nature by His precious blood (1 Peter 1:19).
God did not spare or withhold His own Son but gave Him up for you; will He not with Him freely and graciously give you all other things? (Romans 8:32).
You are an heir to all that Jesus has because of His work of the cross (Galatians 4:7).
In God’s love He chose you to be His very own child because it pleased Him and it was His kind intent (Ephesians 1:4,5).
Because of the sacrifice of Jesus and your belief in Him and what He did, you are chosen, royal, holy and special (1 Peter 2:9).
You are now, in your spirit, blameless, without a single fault (Colossians 1:22)!
Because you are one with the Spirit of Jesus Christ, you are now just like Him in this world (Galatians 4:6; 1 John 4:17).
You are now a world overcomer (1 John 5:4)!
You are equipped as God’s child with immeasurable and unlimited resurrection power, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead (Ephesians 1:19).
You actually possess the fullness of God right now; all divine perfection, powers and attributes because you are one with Jesus (2 Peter 1:4; Colossians 1:19)!
He delights in you and wants you prosperous (3 John 1:2)!
God gives you the power to get wealth; this is His covenant with you, His law (Deuteronomy 8:18)!
Because of Jesus, the Lord will make you have a surplus of prosperity (Deuteronomy 28:11)!
The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens… and He shall bless the work of your hands (Deuteronomy 28:12)!
All of His blessings, because of Jesus, shall come upon you and overtake you! (Deuteronomy 28:2,6)!
Based on these Scriptures, is there anything that you doubt about God’s willingness to provide for the need that you have right now? In fact, according to Scripture, are your needs already met but perhaps you have lacked the knowledge of what He has done, or not yet experienced manifestation? Are you fully equipped based on what God has said? Has He proved His love for you? When you understand His love for you, you will experience it. His power will actually be working on your behalf as He is able to do more than you can ask or think. (Ephesians 3:17-20) This is your firm foundation of hope and confidence in all that God has done for you! But are you fully persuaded? Do you believe? Who can stop the Lord Almighty or undo what He has done? Has impossible ever stopped God?
