A Boast in the Lord...this happened to me today!

My intentions today were to run some errands. I stopped at my first destination and felt prompted to return home. While traveling I noted a woman walking on the sidewalk of the main road. Her pace and posture suggested something might be weighing heavily on her. I prayed for her in the absence of knowing the exact matter. Upon arriving home, I was encouraged to take a walk. I usually walk daily, but later in the day.

My walk was almost complete. My last lap was to walk around the lakes in the neighborhood. As I began this journey, I noted the same woman I had seen on the main road. I went one way around the lake, and she went the other. I hoped that our paths would cross because I sensed a move of the Spirit to tell her that I had prayed for her. My rapid pace caused me to catch up with her and as we crossed paths, I explained I had seen her earlier and confirmed my prayer. The frowned face turned to a broad smile. I continued to walk and realized she had quickly exited the pathway and did not finish walking around the lake. God had provided one brief moment for me to speak with her!

This incident caused me great joy in the Lord! It caused me great joy to know that God had blessed someone today, and I participated in that blessing. My prayer earlier for her was that God would give her an experience of His love! WOW! That was exactly what He did! Then I thought, what had occurred was an excellent example about living from my spirit which is one with the Spirit of God. Each of us has the same opportunity to hear Him speak and respond to His voice. Each of us is a dearly loved and highly favored child of God!
